| Okay, this is going to cover Waluigi, however this works for any character. There are ExModules in the root of the download for BrawlEx + PM. Those are all modules used to make clone characters. For Waluigi, Pyotr made a ft_pit BX v1.1 [PM MOD].rel. That is already set up for the Wah, so all you have to do is just copy that into your pfmodule folder and rename it ft_waluigi. If you are adding a character different from Waluigi, you must do this: Download this Module Editor https://www.dropbox.com/s/1phqp4n5ucmn12w/Module%20Editor%203.2.zip and go to Section[8] and click on Memory Viewer. When you do this, you will see a lot of cells. The very top left (the first cell) will be along the lines of 6 0s and then 2 other numbers. Those two numbers need to be the clone ID (For example, Waluigi's is 60.) The clone ID is what the text says in the file name of the files in the pfBrawlExany folder. For example, Waluigi in the CosmeticConfig folder is Cosmetic60. When you create the clones, you will need to come up with a Clone ID. Those must be from 3F to 63 (This is hex.) | Okay, so, first, extract that zip to a folder somewhere. Inside, you will find a folder called Config Templates, and in there CosmeticConfig. Go in there. You will find a ton of files. Look for the one for the character your clone is based off of. Waluigi, for example, is based on Pit. So, you will grab the Pit template and copy it somewhere. Now, go here and download HxD, a really great hex editor. http://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ Extract it and run HxD. Drop in the Pit (or whoever) template file. Now, you will need to change the first pair of digits on the section 00000010. For Pit, it will read 16. This is where you put your ID for the cosmetic slots, such as in the selcharacter.pac. For Waluigi, it was predecided as 121. 121 in hex is 79. You will replace the 16 with 79. This means that when you make your cosmetics they will be based on the name 121. For example, Waluigi's CSPS are in the char_bust_tex file as MenSelchrFace.1211. In other spots it is just 121 instead of 1211. |

| Okay, so , you just want to take the template from the folder I showed earlier and rename it to be CSSSlot(Insert Clone ID here without the parenthesis), like CSSSlot60 for Waluigi. | Just take the template, rename it to be the clone id you want. That's it. It should be Slot(Insert Clone ID here without the parenthesis), like Slot60 for Waluigi. |
| Fighters |
| This is the most complicated one. Personally, I use the Brawl Ex Config Tool (https://www.dropbox.com/s/r5h1a0d6r5ilw1y/BrawlExConfigUtility%20v1.3a.zip?dl=0), but it is apparently very outdated and not guarenteed to work. With the tool, it is very straightforward. You just rename the character, name the number of costumes, give it basic attributes, etc. I do not currently know how to edit the actual code using HxD. |
| You will then need to add the cosmetics into the files just like with editing costumes and such. You will then add the character under the name you gave it in the Fighter file into the pffighter folder. There is a lot more to be added, and I will add it when I learn lol. |
